How About Our Kansas City Royals!!

Wow! Down 2-0 in the top of the 9th, coming back to tie on a gutsy run from 3rd on an infield grounder, and then scoring five in the 12th to ice the game 7-2! These guys proved that they were not a fluke, with eight come back wins in post season play. They are such a great bunch of guys who have gelled together into a great team that refused to give up, game after game.

Thanks, Royals! The Crown Is Home!!

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I don't pay much attention to sports in general, and professional sports even less. But once in a while I do enjoy a good ball game, and this series caught my attention enough to make me check up on it every day. I actually can't remember when I watched a World Series that went down in a straight four, but from what I saw of this one, it was a good 'un. Good on ya', Royals.

EDIT: I found out that this one went five games; ooops, I must'a missed one some where along the way.

All I can say is.... Go the All Blacks, world champions for another 4 years and the first team to win back to back world championships , the Webb Ellis Cup. The USA team didn't win any of their games sadly so will have to work harder to improve their skill and fitness levels...
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

After my son has religously been watching this team for the past several years (he is 13) I have had them on in the background a long while, I always told him they would be nothing compared to the '85 team, well I take it back I think they are better and well deserving of their title! Great team awesome series and never say its over till its over, they proved that.

I'd wager there was much celebration in the Spears household when they won!
I remember last year when you were over here and they got beaten...you both came out next morning with bottom lips so low they would hold a fortnight's rain.
    Good on them!

(...and yeah...Mark's right...our All Blacks rugby team won the Rugby World Cup for the second time in a row.
The best in the world no less.
So we've got something to crow about too...)
