Here is the wife's hot rod. 18+ MPG's loaded with kids and gear or not. Best truck I've built her yet.

I don't think I have a close up photo of my little engine or should I say " Belly Button " , but it does the job of motivating the wheels to rotate.

Noticed the wires and thought I'd ask what's the ignition system? Pretty Cool.

Well, it's a part of the EFI-I am running a Holley Dominator EFI (to control the Hilborn), and, Holley offers a crank trigger driven Ignition System (Distributorless Ignition System, or DIS)-they also offer coil-on-plug, but as space is becoming more limited I couldn't use it-

Anyway, they say the DIS system offers more spark energy (overall) than an MSD, and the timing is rock-steady (because of the crank trigger)-as there isn't a Distributor, I am running a Cam Sensor so that I can run the Injection sequential (so the Injector won't "pop" back through the tubes, and it helps a little with fuel mileage and performance)-

As for the red, I wasn't happy with how the MSD wires "snapped" onto the Coils/Sparkplugs, so about two weekends ago I switched the Wires over to Moroso Ultra 40's-I think they are a better wire-thanks for asking!

I can't stand it, nobodys posted anything with holes in the valve covers! Heres the best recipe for not burning your plug wires (Next to Bob's awesome flatty). Here's my 354 Hemi before it got all covered up!

Don, even with that method, I'm sure it would turn out better than some... I'll tape some clear plastic over the windows so I can see where I'm going after...
