Confirmed from Gary's FB page, he suffered a heart attack about two to three hours ago at his home, and did not survive. Heartfelt condolences to Marilyn, Marc, Marty and their families. Gary was a true gentleman, and was loved by many, many people.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

This was very difficult to hear. I have known Gary since our NSRA days before Goodguys. Talked to both Gary And Marilyn at Des Moines in July. He was definitely one of the Good Guys!

    He will certainly be missed.

Yeah, tough to hear, but it's all part of the journey.
You hear from the negative nellies from time to time complaints about Goodguys events, but overall ya gotta admire a guy like Gary who had the guts to take the risks necessary to create something that others could enjoy willingly. When folks complained about how NSRA was doing things he stepped up, instead of just whining, and tried to make something better...................he done good!

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
