Thread: Which side?

Of those that habitually drive on the right side of the road so are seated on the left, the side they sleep on is:
Mathyj = left
Rrumbler = left
ted dehaan = left
rspears = right
Henry Rifle = left
34_40 = left
lurker mick = closest to the bathroom.
So that's five out of seven who sleep on the left; a majority.
Of those that habitually drive on the left side of the road so are seated on the right, the side they sleep on is:
me = right
bathcollector = right
Moose = centre (He's single - never been married.)
sharpmark = right
Goose = furthest from the door, but when alone = left (He's a mystery that boy, he works for the Diplomatic Corps; China one month, France next month, Mexico the month after, then on to London...)
So that's three out of five who sleep on the right. Once again a majority.
Conclusions?
I'm buggered if I know!
Draw your own!
But it would appear that my drunken acquaintance's comments may have a germ of truth in them.johnboy

Well, the one on the right was on the left
And the one in the middle was on the right
And the one on the left was in the middle
And the guy in the rear was a Methodist

The real conclusion should be: SHE gets choice of which side to sleep on. Usually the side closer to the bathroom. HE sleeps on the other.
Any relation to side of the road you drive on is purely coincidental..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Yanno? That's the real truth in this. On a late evening in October of 1964, I asked her, as she was taking her white negligee into the hotel bathroom, which side do you want? She told me it didn't matter, we were going to be all over that bed, anyhow. When we got home, she picked the side she wanted, and that's how it has been since.

I drive left and sleep left. It used to be right until we got this house. In reality, I get the easy side to get out of so I can go take care of the kids in the mornings.Ryan
