Right at the top of the main page of the forum, first thing you come to.

And if it gives you any grief.. select it a second time and it'll usually go on. Some kind of "bug" prevents the selection the first time.

What error messages are you getting when you click this link?

roid, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1.Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

If I click the link you provided, I go straight in to the forums.
If I click the tab FORUMS, I get the same message. It's always been that way.
I remember Dave Severson telling me to click forums then garage and then Forums to get past that alert.

In the past when I clicked "Forum" it would go to the "Home" page first, then when I click "Forum" a second time it opens the Forums page. The forums page has never been a one click operation for me. that I recall, which made starting a new thread more difficult.
Now today (after posting) I clicked "Forum" and it immediately opened the Forums page. Maybe Brent tweaked it?Last edited by rspears; 08-31-2016 at 06:00 AM. Reason: Seems to be fixed ?

After you actually get into the "Forum" tab, pull down slowly and just past the photos of members cars, the heading will read "Hot Rod Stuff for Sale".
Also, try hitting the Garage tab first, and then hit the Forum tab. It works a little better, you shouldn't see the "permissions" page.Last edited by 34_40; 09-05-2016 at 03:06 AM.

When you logged out, did you clean out (delete) your browser "cookies" and "cache"? System cache?
Also, have you done all of your browser, plug in, and system updates?
Still trying to get to the bottom of this, hence the questions being asked as we move along as I cannot duplicate your issues on my end
Finally, what software level on your system (WIN10, IOS 9.4.5, etc) and what browser (revision number) are you using?

I clean my cookies once every 6 mo., cache never. all updates always. Using windows 7 with internet explorer, pretty much all I can tell you. roidLast edited by roid; 09-05-2016 at 08:35 PM.
