One for Ryan
Since we've got this Hurricane / Tropical Storm messing up our weather, it has made some time in my schedule.. So to satisfy Ryan's request, and I think R2 also, I snapped a couple photos that show some of the shop and my current project. This first one is taken from my house looking towards the shop up on the hill.

Well, that one didn't work.. Let me continue on..
First is a 74 Cub Cadet Model 169 that I've been doing a "refurbish" on.

And you can see my 34 "on the rack".. waiting for me as usual.
And my friend Mark is almost done with his Model A. I've been trying to talk him into letting us put a small block into it, but he's more partial to a flathead V-8..
When I get the urge I take the coupe out and make sure I swing by his house. Taking him for a ride, I'll ask him you don't REALLY want a flathead??? Do You??? As the little pedal on the ride heads for the floorboards!

Hope that works for you Ryan / Randy.?.?.?
I tried a couple times and I cannot get that first pic to work. I haven't a clue as to why. But I'll try again later.

Niiice-I worked for IH back in the day (Tractor side), and that old Cub really brings back memories! They were built extremely well-looks like you did a really nice job on the "A" also-keep up the good work!Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

Thanks! Many times I enjoy "playing" with the tractors a lot more than the cars. 8-)

Very nice Mike! You really do have a hot rod. Nice work on the Cub. I got rid of all of mine last summer. Your friend's model A looks very nice too.Ryan

YEP.. I really do have a rod! ( it's rumored that R2 has one also.. it's been so long I vaguely remember it!) I've cut the Cub Cadets down to 2 since the move last year. I guess I didn't really need the other 5...
Marks "A" is really nice, a great body to be sure, he just has this thing for that little 4 cylinder! It needs a bunch of time and money to be as nice as the body, but he won't budge and swap in a v8.. we did 1 cruise early in the season and I had to keep pulling over and waiting for him to catch up.
Thank you Roger. .
