Cracked block, pressurizing your cooling system? I'd do a pressure test on the cooling system and see if it holds pressure over an extended period. If it holds pressure, rotate the crank 180 degrees and see if it still holds. The gas pedal resistance sounds really strange....Roger

Iv done head gaskets intake gaskets 2 new water pumps the gaskets blown 5x it's the weirdest thing when I'm idling it's fine but when I drive I have to ease on the gas or it will blow everytime I can ease into it then get to highway speeds and it will blow again I'm stumped no coolant in oil no oil in coolant I was thinking maybe radiator is plugged but I wouldn't feel that at the gas pedal and I can blow through it and see it come out the hose Iv never been stumped like this before I was thinking cracked block as well but no coolant in oil and I don't know any way possible for there to be a crack in the block lettin combustion gas in if there's no oil or coolant mixed except a head gasket and I just did that this weekend

That's what I was gunna do tomorrow was take the water pump back cause I know it's a reverse flow pump on those 350s but no temp gauge reads fine I let it idle for thirty minutes minutes no problom but like I said when u hit the gas peddle I can feel the resistance then I floor it and pop there goes the gaskets it's weird as fuck man Iv been working on cars for 4 years now and have seen a lot but have never been stumped like this it's odd as fuck I'm gunna pressure test cooling system tomorrow but am not sure if that's my problom I shouldn't feel it in my gas peddle this all happened a couple months ago I just started working on it again these past two weeks there was a loud pop when this all started happening then a couple miles down the road pump blood up not be gaskets it just streight blow up through the shaft so replaced it and ever since its been doing this like I said I did head gaskets this weekend so I know my problom is else wear
