Hi Mark, yes, packing out is difficult but where practical I built a two wheeled game cart to ease the load. On this hunt though because of the steep grade the cart wouldn't have worked. In this case we would have used the pack boards.
BTW, the vignetted pic of the 4 deer was a doe with triplets, a rare sight I'm sure. If they all survive till next year that would be amazing. The pic was taken by my partner with his spotting scope and an adapter for his cell phone. The pic of the scorpion was taken after i nearly sat on it to take a rest.

Jack, thanks for taking the time to share and post the pics! I'm sure you really have to watch what you do there. Those scorpions don't look like anything to mess with when you're that far away from any medical help.Ryan
