Cool. Was it loping the last time you had it out? I seem to remember a ride a few years back and she was plenty stout then.

About nine months ago I got with one of the Edelbrock guys, and he was looking at all of the maps on-line, real time. He made some changes to my timing map, smoothing things out some and ever since it had a "surge" at idle to mid range under load, with a touchy throttle. Talking to a guy around here he suggested that adding a bit of fuel might help the surge, and would also boost the torque a little. Seems to be working, but not quite perfect yet....Last edited by rspears; 07-07-2017 at 12:20 PM.

That's good news. Pretty cool to be "tinkering" with "The Maps", and to be a able to change the tune with a few keystrokes.
So did the E-brock tuner actually help? Or the opposite?

He helped. He was watching some of the peripherals and told me I needed to check my power connection as it was dropping voltage a little during crank. I ran a new #10 from the battery post direct to the ECU and solved my tempermental starting. He had asked me to go through a detailed drive & record process, cell by cell on the timing map and then call him back, but life got in the way....Roger
