For now I think I'm going to get some cordless motion detector lights and place them in unusual areas just to see if the perp comes back. I need to dig my trail cam back out and bait the thief too just maybe. You know, with a hole under a pile of leaves or something clever. HahaRyan

I have Amcrest security cameras installed at my place. I think I paid less than $300 for the system with four cameras. I can look at my phone anytime and see the place and it has a DVR recording all the time. This is a screen shot from my phone during the night. Daytime is much better of course.Seth

Sad world we live in. In high school back in the 70's I was rebuilding my 289 out of my mustang at school in autoshop class. One day I came to school to find it on milk crates minus the 4 crager 5 spoke rims and mag tires. Mind you most of what I earned part time working after school went into the engine rebuild and chasis work. Bout killed me back then, stuff just didn't happen! Flash forward to 5 years ago, went out front at my old house to find a nice hit and run mark in my MR2, had some seedy neighbors renting next door. Police told me to install the same security camera type with dvr mentioned above. It goes infra red after dark and you can even trigger it only to record when it detects motion! Kept that system after the divorce and have one camera aimed where the car is parked on the street the other is aimed towards the front of the house and door/side yard. Hate to live in a world where we need this stuff, but don't have money to fund people who steal for a living!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Sorry to hear about both of your cars. There will always be scum bags I suppose. It's just when they strike you not if or when which is sad.Ryan
