Prayers for Sutherland Springs Baptist Church
This is terrible; please take a few moments to gather your family together and pray for the victims of this horrific shooting.1 Corinthians 1:27

It's the pure pointlessness of it that gets me.
Why would anyone want to hurt/kill/maim innocent people and children?
Surely people are brought up to know what's right and what's not?
It's beyond my understanding.
Our thoughts from downunder are with everybody concerned.johnboy

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families and members of that church. Everyday more stupid stuff emerges and seems to be getting worse.Ryan

truly a sad day . wack job retaliating against his ex . no gun law in the world would have stopped him. only a good guy with a gun did. our little town is pretty well armed and folks carry even to church. no gun free soft targets here.
evil has always been around and wont go away because of any legislation or laws. we are back to the days of protecting ourselves and being more responsible for our surroundings.
imo our country needs to return to our christian faith . i'm far from a bible thumper and need to get to church more often but i still live by the morals i learned as a child . i still believe prayer works . recent events have turned me totally away from hollywood . i refuse to watch another nfl game. the way i look at it is if you turn your back on god and country i turn my back on you .
rant over .....

I honestly can hardly read about it anymore, to be honest I've been a bit down due to some stuff going on here and what happened there just rips my heart out. Jesus come quickly.Seth

what amazes me is the call for more gun control . this guy had at least 5 reasons he should have been denied a gun . so more background checks would have done nothing . not in the system no flag . gun laws have never worked. law enforcement does when allowed to do their jobs .
if someone is hell bent to kill someone they will care nothing about laws .
