Last game of the season
I posted the first Football game of the season and now here is the last. This time I got a pic of everyone standing for the flag. We made it to the state semi finals with a 10-1 record and faced the Waukon Indians who also had a 10-1 season. The playoffs are held at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls. The boys played good but at the end of the game we lost with a 19-36 score. It was a turn around from last year when our corner of the state took home 1-A and 2-A Football and 1- A Volleyball between 3 of our local schools. This year the East end of the state took all three 1st place trophy's. A lesson in humility I guessI was also blessed with hitting a deer with my new Ram pickup on the way home too
We need to shoot more of those things. Minimal damage but still

Very nice Seth! Sorry to hear they didn't win, and you hit a deer coming back home. This brings back memories for me. My youngest brother went there 2 times when he was playing. They didn't win either time but came really close. If I remember correctly a Christian school from Cedar Rapids won the last year. It was still an awesome experience for their team for sure.Ryan
