If that's a coyote we have them too. They seem to be multiplying
pretty fast around here. Have about wiped out our quail, rabbit, &
other small game pop too, not to mention our cats as well.

It's funny you posted this. My dad has been telling me how close the coyotes have been to their place lately. Well, he called me Friday before dusk and said there were 2 20 ft from the shop in the pasture. They have horses and a few years ago we had yotes take a chunk out of mom's prize possession. Her now 21yr old mare mouse. My youngest brother has Dad's favorite yote killing gun so Dad told me to come over and play plinko. But as usual, I haven't seen any yet. I'll keep checking. Haha The only thing that sucks is it's a freaking tundra out. -3* actual temp right now. I might have to resort to setting in the cab of a truck to stay warm to get them just like back in high school.Ryan

Yep, coyote. They walked right along side the house - I mean within 2 or 3 feet! I think they were searching for my dogs / picked up the scent of them. I'll need some 7mm for the AK. I like the idea of settin' in the truck as a sort of blind. I guess the International just got another new job.
I've seen the signs of their presence. They have been gone for a year or more, and the rabbit and squirrels have come back. So now the coyote are back it seems.

If you have a cat you don't care for, I can tell you how to make a cheap, effective coyote call.Ryan

If those were around here, you would have heard bullets flying. We got a few groups around here that make it their mission to thin down the coyote problem.Seth

We often have coyotes walking down our street at around 6am, and we live in the city. There is a large wildlife refuge about 2 miles from us. I’m guessing that’s where they come from.Last edited by Driver50x; 01-04-2018 at 11:36 AM.

What's really funny is that "his" Coyote has the jumper cables connected! I wonder if he knew that?

I was just curious if you noticed the jumper cable clamps were in place?
I'm not saying it was giving or getting a jump. It was really something that caught my eye as being out of place. That's all.
And yes, it would be a whole lot cooler if I owned it. LOL.

Well, to be honest...I didn't see the jumper cables till you pointed them out. I was going for the quick response to your Coyote post and grabbed the first pic off of ebay that showed an obvious Coyote motor...since the ad was for an engine/trans from a wrecked Mustang, I'm guessing they had to jump it to test it. Good eye! I totally missed that detail...."It is not much good thinking of a thing unless you think it out." - H.G. Wells
Thank you Roger. .
