Scary times, JB, glad it worked out the way it did, and hope the recovery is good.

Sorry I've been only replying to subscribed threads for the last month or so and missed your new post JB. I'm glad Rosie is home and better and will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Many thanks for the kind thoughts and well wishes folks.
I'm a hands-on type; if I see a broken piece of steel I can weld it back together.
But with this sort of issue I'm completely out of my depth and feel entirely helpless and useless.
It's extremely worrying.
You just don't know what to do.
And there's really nothing you can do.
But thanks to the surgeons and medical science it has turned out alright in the end.
The feeling of relief is absolute.johnboy

I know that feeling, JB. When Mrs. Rrumbler had to have quad bypass surgery, I fretted and fumed and pestered the Doc pretty hard, until he took me down a notch. He nailed me with a stare and asked me: "If i called you to fix an electrical problem in my house, and then questioned you at every turn, what would you say to me?" Then he just waited for an answer. It didn't take me long to find some humility, and I also found faith and trust; it changed my way of taking things on.
