Nice day for a drive
No pics but took the 53 out this afternoon for a joy ride. The first stop was to the car wash and get it shined up and it started running bad right after I washed it while it was still at the car wash. I got it going again and it puked out in about a minute. The fuel gauge was at about 1/8 of a tank so according to how the sending unit is in there I had about 3-4 gal left. I've had problems with this thing reading wrong before so I went to the gas station across the road and asked if they had gas jugs, she showed me where and I about fell over when I seen the price tag of $32.00 for a 5 gal jug. I asked her if she minded if I bought some washer fluid and dumped it out and used them instead after I showed her the price tag on the jug, then she about fell over and said " no wonder we've never sold one " . She got me an empty gallon jug from the supply room to use instead. I bought a funnel for $1 and put one gallon of gas in and it fired right up. I drove across the street to fill it up and my wife went inside to get a drink and she said the clerk was by the eating tables talking to the locals and wondering who priced the $32 gas jug We put on about 80 miles cruising around in southern Minnesota and turned around by Pipestone. We got some ice cream and seen some really awesome Memorial Day decorated towns and grave yards. Nothing too exciting , just a nice drive.Seth

That's a bad deal about the low fuel issue but at least you were close to a gas station. That high priced gas jug is nuts!Ryan
