    A new Soldier

Thursday, May 31st, my youngest grandson graduated from Army boot camp at Fort Jackson, SC. I am as proud of him as I am of my grandson who's in the Marines. Because of his mother, my daughter who is a Colonel,IMG_6581.jpgIMG_6595.jpgIMG_6600.jpgIMG_6603.jpg we had front row seating. RHIP does have its perks.

You'd have been proud of those young men and women. Marching in grass is a major PITA and they did a fine job. In the first picture that is my daughter telling the CG of Fort Jackson how to properly run the base. To say we had good seats is an understatement.

Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
