Unexpected Gift
I've got a friend who is currently working as a contractor in Afghanistan. I got a call from his wife this morning asking if I was going to be around as Dennis had sent me something and she wanted to drop it off to me.
A little ago she dropped off a big box with what turned out to be a wood burning of a picture he had taken at my shop when he was back this spring.

Apparently there's a little shop off the base that does the wood burnings, but normally of peoples' faces. He told Dennis this is the first time he's done one that the subject was cars. I guess it took about 3 weeks for him to do this one.

The picture doesn't do it justice there is a ton of detail in it. Guess who's getting a dinner for him and his wife when he gets back.
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....
