Since we're on the subject of will's..... My Dad did bring up how weird it was Uncle Jerry's will was never found after he passed away when Aunt Nancy's sons dropped off the gas pump. The boys wouldn't even make eye contact with him after he laid that on them. They sure knew what everything sold for including the car though.

Sadly I don't have the actual pic. I have the painting though. It was one of the first paintings my Aunt did too I found out. I'll dig it out and take a pic of it.

I finally remembered to take a pic of the painting. I asked my dad about it a couple weeks ago actually. I was wrong, this painting isn't of Uncle Jerry's garage. Which I should have known because his garage doesn't look anything like the building in the painting. I've actually had it stored in my safe and haven't looked at it for a long while. It's actually of the first service station my Grandfather and Uncle Jerry ran and owned together. I guess they had a few over the years and their old one used to remain on the old highway. Dad did say Aunt Nancy painted this for Uncle Jerry for a birthday present and it was her first painting. I need to have the edges repaired where the canvas is deteriorating. I will have to try to see if I can find anyone in the town where the stations were, that might be able to locate some old pictures of the stations.

She really did! She painted a picture for my mom of her favorite horse and she did a really great job on it!
