    i'm not even going to admit to how many bales we haul around here but usually a 34 ft trailer double stacked.

    I've had 10 large rounds on that trailer but it gets to be a PITA with those rear ramps. It takes 2 people to strap them up and when things shift you have to keep stopping to check. Plus then the ramps almost drag going across intersections etc. Just more head aches

    Back during the same drought in the 80's, our S. Dakota Governor, Bill Janklow, removed all the height and weight restrictions on loads of hay going west to Montana and Wyoming, you should have seen some of the loads leaving the hay yards around Yankton, SD and heading West!!!!
