    Happy new year

The new year is fast approaching and I'm going to ride it out at the house, planning to sleep through it. Of course, I can tell exactly when the rain lulls, it's punctuated by the percussive retorts from the illegal fireworks. At least there is no chance of fires getting sparked.

Please remember the emergency rooms are staffed heavy tonight, just awaiting the direct results of revelry.

Safe n sane, get a designated driver else don't be the designated drunk. See you next year.

We saw 2019 in last night.
A very quiet event, just She Who Must Be Obeyed and myself.
I sucked on a rum or two; while She had a few bourbons.
And we just sat and talked about the past, the present, and what the future may hold for us both.
    Very pleasant. I enjoyed it.
And I still enjoy her company.
    All good.

We're staying home tonight too. We had plans to make our 1 1/2 hour trek to a friends house to bring in the new year but instead we're stuck at home watching a mild blizzard.

We stayed in as well. Haven't tried a New Years Eve party in decades... (you know you're old when??? 8-) LOL)
This morning I read the "ramblings" from the other side of the world. ALL GOOD!

So a Happy New Year wish to you all. I hope the coming is better than the last... may you all have good health and happiness.

I hope you all had a happy new year! Mine is starting off with lots of broken stuff at work. Funny, that's how last year ended. Yeehaw. Haha
