Thread: So proud of our local schools!

Very proud of our young people. It's football season and in our area it's pretty typical for many coaches to pray with the players before the game and after the game on the field. These are the public school coaches mentoring and shaping our kids. I'll use the school names even though your not familiar with the area,our school is the Nighthawks.Last week the Wildcats took on MOC and after the game, things went a bit different, instead of the coaches leading in prayer after the game, both teams met on the field together and they all took a knee while a player from the Wildcats prayed and the coaches were in the huddle as well. It went viral locally on Facebook and of course when that happens the Sioux Falls Atheist groups try to throw their weight around saying the schools need to get fined because the coaches were involved in the prayer. Fast forward to tonight when the Wildcats took on our team the Nighthawks, we got beat and both football teams and all the student body from both sides met on the field and took a knee together and had a public prayer right there and there wasn't a thing the you not allowed to believe in anything pushers could do about it!
