Hi all
for my holiday this year I am going to the states and want to visit a few places associated with my favourite car films. I am going to San Francisco and we are going to do some of the bullet car chase route, but there are a couple of other films I want to visit places from.
The 1st is fairly easy the route from American Graffiti is fairly well documented so should be fairly easy.
The other is the 1979 film Hot rod (aka rebel of the road). I can only find very limited info about this one. I know the drag senses were shot at the Fremont drag strip but does anyone know where other bits were filmed? All I can find is Calistoga was used but no references to any of the places lie Susie’s or Violet springs. Can anyone help?
