    So Im thinking LS1?

But might be talked out of it for the Model T? how the heck have you guys been? Ive added a few cars and lost a few since I was last here. Made the move from San Diego to a little town called Licking Missouri. Seat business is all settled in and Im thinking its start up time on a few of the projects that were put on hold during the move and now the Rona BS. Ended up with this stock T and Im still not sure why!

I'm guessing you're joking on putting the LS1 in the all stock T? I've been following you on Instagram and very glad to see you back on here!

HEY! Bob, Bob and brother Bob! LOL
How've you been boy? Missed you 'round the place as I don't do to much social media sh..tuff myself. I have a soft spot for stock "T's" when they are mostly complete. Henry might've made millions of'em but they are becoming more rare each year it seems. Good to know your settled in and call it home.

Thanks for the birthday greeting and making time to share a few pics.

    p.s. ( Ls1's make me puke!)

Good getting you back on CHR, any move is a PITA but packing up a shop and moving half way across the country must have been a real joy! Number of years back I saw a "T" a guy had done and wanted to keep the stock appearance, he used a 2300 Ford four cylinder with a bunch of trick race stuff in the engine and hooked it all up to a 5 speed! It was a neat set up!

A guy could get lost trying to find Licking! Dave's reply made me recall a little T pickup that makes lots of shows around the area, painted orange as I recall, running a little diesel 4 banger - can't remember what it was out of but the guy did a great job on it! I can't find a picture.....

I think that one of the 4 cylinders like out of the mid 70s pintos? would be ok but all the accessories and reliability on the road would be over the hill---a LS 1 that is picked out of a late model vehicle that has all the accessoies ( 12volt, a/c, power steering, water pump) mounted high up ( like on suv or pickups) along with trans, wiring , fuel pump would give reliability, economy milage and outstanding performance-------plus get it in aluminum----------lighter weight on the front for weight distribution for handling and braking

Oh I know just where Licking is, Ken! Just poking the bear a bit. Relocating to Licking, MO is kind of like being in the witness protection system!

176A26DE-90F8-4E5C-9007-4D62C74D9791.jpgAh ha, ive been found out. From what I understand Licking shortened the name years back when it was called Deer Lick due to natural minerals and salt deposits left on the rocks during winter weather. Summer dried and preserved it for the Deer and Buffalo.

Was thinking at one time about putting a VW Rabbit diesel and trans in it but the stock motor is a runner but no fun... no e start! Could give the Amish a run for their money with their transportation around here...

Self quarantined in Licking for a little over a year now! 3000 people, 1500 are in the state big house across town. Sure not in SoCal any more, thank God! The big draw for me was that Montauk State park is just around the corner... most beautiful place Ive been

Out of luck... I just build seat frames. No upholstery other than my own.

keeping with the 4 cylinder theme, find a T-bird super coupe, or a SVO Mustang. turbo-ed 2.3 and your choice of auto or manual w/o.d. , not your average cookie cutter!
