I noted the other day that it's those aged between 20 and 29 are the ones more likely to get it. They're the ones who still think they're ten ft tall and bullet-proof. The ones who ignore the attempts of authority to contain it.
But they're young enough and resilient enough to be able to be cured of it.
It's the older ones, the ones over the age of 60, who (the statistics tell us,) are the most likely to die from it.
We, in New Zealand, being a small island nation, were in a unique (and fortunate,) position of being able to shut our borders to the rest of the world and concentrate on getting shot of it.
Anybody who enters our country now must observe a fortnight's strict quarantine.
Anybody who breaks quarantine faces fines into four figures and compulsory jail time...no excuses.

I don't particularly like the politics of Jacinda Ardern, our current Prime Minister; but I do admire her reaction to this killer virus. We were fortunate to have her as our Head of State.
