Hey Kurt, troubles and fun, life deals the cards, we all gotta play whatever hand is dealt.
Do your best to roll with it for you and your bride.
Good thing you've got so much open highway near to you, that Mustang will want to run.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

The guy standing next to me in the photo had a pinto too but his was darker then he had a 76 Caprice and a 62 chevy long bed pick up.
I drove a 73 Metalic blue with light blue pinstripping VW Bug that was broke down half the time. usually something stupid like the starter.
The points condenser went out atleast once a month so I tried to carry extra's then Hed a guy sit in the back that weighed 300 and push the spring on top of the battery and blew it up. LOL!!! He said I thought I smelled something. HA! HA! HA! Just stupid stuff all the time with that thing but when it ran it ran good.
1850 with a Eagle race cam head work and all. Just undependable so I got rid of it. Ya I loved the weather there.
Not sure if you know where mikes gym was but I worked out in there with my buddy and Mr.USA can't remember his last name but his first name was Sam.
That gym was right out side the gate in a little strip shopping center there, or if you were looking to go in the main gate it would be to the left down where a lot of on base homes were. I think the other small gate went to Salinas but that was by the old wooden barracks, that's where we practiced riot control. Ya I loved that base to bad they shut it down then they let Collage kids in there and they went thru and torn all the barracks up. Sad really.
