Friends in the Reno/Sparks area have shared that the smoke has been affecting them too. Better residual smoke than the fire!

It would appear that Mother Nature is a wee bit angry.

Glen, a guy I work with lost his house in the Fairfield Hills last Wednesday. His wife called him two hours after he got to work saying she was being evacuated, this was 4 am. Shortly thereafter the house and everything he owned was gone. All he had was the cloths he wore to work. Wife didn't have time to get much out other than the car. So sad...

I'm to the west of Fairfield, I feel for your friends and all that were effected. A lot of destruction in a mater of hours it moved way too fast.
