Fires!
Fire is close to us, we're on standby notice and prepared to leave, it pushed to the east over night towards vacaville. Vacaville is a mess right now, large numbers evacuated and many homes lost, threatening to jump freeway to other side of vacaville now.
I hate fire season!!!!
Many thoughts and prayers to my Vacaville neighbors and friends,

Fires are still raging! Very little to no containment. So far the winds have blown it away from me, others have not been so lucky. My thoughts and prayers go out to all in this mess.

Yes, we are still safe, thank you. The winds have been kind to me so far. A new round of lightning storms is expected later today, Monday and Tuesday, don't know what that will bring us. A lot of devastation all around.

The smoke is so bad that we can't even see Pikes Peak and we are 4 miles East of the peak. This is some bad SH--.

Smoke here is horrible, if you didn't know better you'd think you were fogged in, except it stinks and cuts your throat raw.
And more lightning is expected over the next couple of days. OH BOY!
