Surprise in the Mail
A cousin from Texas found an old '33 license plate in a box of stuff. Her older brother, lost to cancer years ago, had a righteous '33 sedan that was featured in Street Rodder magazine back in '84, and the plate was his. It'll fit nicely with my old Kansas plates.

The magazine is missing the centerfold pages, likely framed back in the day.

Very cool! That license plate is in very nice condition. Most of them around here sat in the mud and are junk most times.

Yeah, cousin Steve had great taste in cars and girlfriends....
Does anyone recall a fenderless Model A (I think) truck that had the entire bed/body one piece, hinged at the rear, maybe called the Flip Up Pick Up or Tilt Up Pick Up? Seems to me that he sent me a picture back in the '70's or '80's of a magazine cover, saying that he'd found it and was restoring it.Roger

That truck does sound vaguely familiar to me. I MIGHT have that magazine. I have a bunch of older magazines in the upstairs of my shop. I'll take a look for it as the weather gets colder. Hot as hell up there during the warmer months.
I'll let you know if I find it.It's All Good
