Christmas used to mean a bit more to me than it does now .. i am the youngest of 13 siblings in my family .. 9 of us were born in December .. Dad did a bit of spring planting so to speak ..my birthday is the same as the oldest member in my family .. i`m 65 and she is 83 .. born on the same day 18 years apart ..also in those nine were a set of triplet boys born just a few minutes after Christmas day .. minutes away from being Christmas babies .. two other brothers and sisters came along .. Christmas always included birthday celebrations for most of us .. but as the years went by and older siblings began to pass away the month of December was`nt always looked upon with eagerness ,, last year was no exception .. i lost two brothers in a span of three days .. one of the triplets died on his birthday and another older brother passed away 3 days later ..Merry Christmas .. i suppose so ..i`m one of the ones still above ground ..iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

While the year 2020 hasn’t been particularly crash-hot let’s hope that 2021 is a happy, healthy, and prosperous one for you all!
I hope everybody gets what they deserve from Santa, and hope they appreciate it.
For the first time in many years we're going to have all our kids at home for Christmas.
Grandchildren?
Only one out of five.
But that's alright; he's the pick of the lot of them.
I love all our kids and grandchildren, they're good people...but there are times when I don't particularly like them.johnboy

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you all!
Hoss, that was a hard post to like. I'm very sorry to hear that. That definitely would make December a very tough year. 13 kids, man, I thought we had it rough with going to have 6 kids. I give props to your parents for raising such a huge family. I'm sure it had it's struggles but I'm sure it was totally worth it. My condolences to you and your family during this time.
I as well am looking forward to 2021. 2020 was a pain in the ass but I can't say it was the worst year because through all the BS a lot of good things happened so I can't condemn the entire year. You just have to look past the bad and hold your head up and keep on going. My grandfather always said that and he was right.
I hop you all can spend some time with your loved ones during this time even if it is virtual. Take care.Ryan

And a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, got to be better than this one, to everyone on the forum.
Just about the best thing that happened around here was my grandson being discharged from the Marine Corps and coming home. After 6 months or so he got the job he wanted. He's now working for a company here in Springfield that rebuilds helicopter engines and he is their HazMat man. A vet started it a few years ago and he mainly hires vets and Ian is more than qualified.
This coming year he plans on rebuilding the 66 Mustang, which will require a ton of work, so we've been working on cleaning the garage out. Come spring I hope to be done and we should have adequate room.Ken Thomas

Merry Christmas, I hope this shout out to you all finds you thriving and in good health and with Family when allowed. I shall be tending to babies for the next 4 days, which often reminds me of the reason behind the Christmas celebration, and makes me appreciate what I get to do for work. Here is also to a happy New Year!

Merry Christmas. Stay safe..

I hope you all have a Blessed Christmas Day. For our family Christmas revolves around the hope in Jesus Christ who was sent to make us right with God while knowing every weakness and struggle we have. Merry Christmas!Seth
