Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

today is the first day of the rest of my life .. a happy new year for me will be one without alcohol ,, i am now drinking almost a case of beer a day and it does absolutely nothing for me .. have not had a beer buzz in years .. another goal for this year is to convert the V6 pinto to a 5 speed .. cant help but make it a bit more fun to drive .. i`m not done with cars i`m just done with ground pounders but iv`e got to feel a whole lot better in body and spirit to do it .. goal # 3 is to get cataract surgery .. one does`nt realize how bad this stuff is cause it sneaks up on you so slowly .. i imagine i am about 50 % blind but i still function ok .. i have to work 9 hours today and that is 9 hours without a beer in my hands .. a good start .. it takes two weeks to break a habit .. lets see what happens ..

There's an old Irish curse: 'May you live in interesting times.'
I think 2020 could be called 'interesting.'

So for 2021 I hope that no-one has to live in the aforementioned interesting times!

May your lives all be dead boring!

Hoss, you can do it. A couple words of advice: replace the beer with straight water. Caffeine and sugar are not your friends. Any negative effects such as night sweats and sober headache will pass in a few days.
