    Lil' Road Trip

Spending some time in Arizona and stopped by Route 66 Museum in Santa Rosa NM. The 32 Stude is all steel, but will need a lot of work! It's actually in the Petrified Forest National Park on the old Route 66. The museum in Santa Rosa is off the chart - highly recommend it!

There for a minute I thought you had a picture of "The California Kid", but it lives at Pete and Jakes in Peculiar, Missouri.

Crikey that photo of 'Standin' on the corner in Winslow Arizona' brought back memories of our second trip across USA, we too have photos of ourselves in that same spot.

We went to the museum too, like a kid in a candy store I didn't know what to drool over first.

    Happy memories...

Wow looks like some nice cars. I go thru/by Santa Rosa when I head back to Illinois. I never knew that museum was there. If I ever head back that way I’ll probably make some time to stop by.

I used to stop for gas in Santa Rosa but the last few years I’ve been stopping at Russell’s Travel Center at NM exit 369 (last exit in NM before you get to the Texas line). They also have a route 66 car museum.

Usually by the time I get there (either heading to Illinois or coming back home) it’s a good place to stop and stretch my legs and wander around a bit.

I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

The car looks gorgeous! Bet the people around you stare at it while driving it in a city.
I would pay someone for at least one ride in such a car because it’s so classy. How are road trips in this one? It looks like there is enough space for everything.
I am a simpler person and usually travel with https://www.dbfahrplan.com/de/ because the train tickets are cheaper than car rides. I usually do not go far and visit neighboring small towns. Such towns have something special about them, and I like their atmosphere and the prices because they are much lower than in the cities.

i wasn't ready just yet but i am now in the market for a new car .. my corolla was just sideswiped and destroyed by a hit and run driver .. although the other car was found quickly as it was very damaged as well .. it happened so fast my first thought was that i had turned into somebody but the other driver was speeding in and out of traffic and went to pass a truck in the turning lane and there i sit .. i was turning left into a parking lot..we were all going north ,, there was no traffic coming in the opposite direction .. one second sooner and it would have missed me .. one second later and i would not be making this post .. two cars behind caught it on video and they both stopped and gave the state trooper the videos.. i did not see them ..the left front of my car is gone .. i got a cut on my head i guess from it banging on my drivers window .. nothing to worry about .. i`m sure i was looking into the parking lot when i was hit ..the car zoomed on by and turned down a side street but it must have failed nearby .. i just left the toyota dealer and they dont have a used car in my price range .. i dont want to buy new .. the pinto is an absolute piece of crap but it`s all i got for a minute ..and it likes to catch on fire lately ..
iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?
