I am going to have to get back in to this

Hi all . I have just got a email asking me if I would to return to Club Hot Rod. In the last few years I have not had much to do with many internet sites. We have a site here in Australia called Oze Rodders. I have been in to that but things got a bit nasty so I stepped away from it and if I went in I would have a look around and not say any thing. After Club Hot Rod's email I would like to get involved in it again. After a long time build on a 1942 Ford Jail Bar Pick Up it is close to being finished. So it would be great to talk about that and catching up with what is going on with other in the site. I am a 73 year old New Zealander living in Melbourne Australia since 1970. I do not remember my pass word but I have been able to get in here to night 11-22 Tuesday night the 11 of January 2022. I will leave it at that for now and If I have put this in the wrong place and the wrong way please let me know.

Welcome back, KiwiPaul! We've got a few guys from the Deep South, mainly NZ, who're on here fairly regularly, and several who've been on in the past but haven't posted lately. We don't get too hung up on where things are posted, it just helps if you're looking for posts later to have them in a category. Looking forward to learning more about your '42 truck, and seeing some pictures when you have time.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

And from So'east Massachusetts as well, nice yo see your name pop up. The ford sounds very interesting, an unusual ride I'd
think. Just holler if you need a hand posting some pics. We'd love to see what it is.

Thank you rspears. My Pick up is just about done I have had problems with getting ground clearance in the front. When I got it the guy that had built it had it sitting to low over the front cross member . It has a Jag front end in it . I fix it by putting higher tyres on the front but they hit the front guards (Fender) We have fixed that now just needs painting and I am close to being able to put it on the road . When I get the hang of doing things on here I will put up some photos of it.

Hi firebird77clone. Thanks mate. I am hoping to get some paint on my Jail Bar pick in the next coming days. The tray has been painted it is more timber than steel. The timber has been clear coated I have a timber wing I made for the back of the tray. A lot of work shaping it but I think it looks good. It has a 360 Rambler motor in it Jag front end and 9 inch Ford rear. More latter
