Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

You won't ever hear me say that. I'm not a Maori, nor am I European, I'm a New Zealander, or Kiwi. I refuse to 'learn' the Maori 'language', as it's an absolutely totally made up 'language', made up by what was a stone-age people when my lot turned up in the 1700s.
Learning Esperanto would be of more value.
Rant over.
Yes everybody, have a Happy Christmas, may whatever Gods you worship smile on you, and may 2023 be good for you!Last edited by johnboy; 12-26-2022 at 07:45 PM.

HA! Sorry to hit your hot button jb! Blame the Facebook site "100% New Zealand" for the Maori holiday wish! I'll stick to 'merican in the future (not to be confused with "The King's English"). Oh, and your 2013 reference isn't so bad! Another friend referenced 1923 to me the other day!!Last edited by rspears; 12-26-2022 at 08:24 AM.
