Been a while.
Glad to see Dave Severson, Techinspector, and I told you so are still on here.
Well lets see if I can post this, back when I was on before had someone saying I was not a Army Sniper. because he had asked what round we used. i said it was the same round as the M- 60 used. which is like a 308 or a 30 cal. anyway I had been going thru chemo back then and even got lost on the way home one day, just a few blocks from my house. Been thru that stuff 3 times now and the wife just got done going thru the same thing. Anyway I am gonna see if I can post this old photo of me that was sent to me after my mother past away a few years ago. I got so upset I just stopped posting after that guy, though Dave did come and stand up for me. Lets see if I can share this thing now. http://www.flickr.com/photos/1529929...in/dateposted/

Good to see you back, Kurt. Like Mike said, of the three only Dave Severson is still posting. Tech can't get logged in and Don moved to the HAMB, I think. Sorry to hear you're a 3 time chemo vet, and that your wife has been through it too, but you're still here, still kickin' and still working on your toys! As the guys way down south would say, Good On Ya'!!Last edited by rspears; 04-19-2023 at 07:18 AM.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Good having you back with us Kurt! As we age these health issues are becoming far too common! Jackie and I have also both been through the cancer thing so I understand what a total PITA that is!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Welcome back Kurt. Sorry to hear about the cancer and hope you and your wife are doing OK.
I’m a bit curious about the picture. I notice a mix of BDUs and OD fatigues in the picture so I’m guessing early to mid 80s? The patch in your avatar and uniform look like 7th Infantry Division but it’s a bit hard to tell. If it is that would put you at Ft Ord? Just curious, I was assigned to the 7th from 83 to 86.
I probably wouldn’t have noticed except I’ve been going thru a bunch of family photos lately and find I spend a bunch of time looking at what’s going on in the background to the point where it kind of becomes a habit.
Anyway good to see you back.

Welcome back! I'm sorry to hear of your cancer dealings but at least you kicked it's butt 3x. I wish your wife all the best in beating it as well! Also, thanks for your service. My brother was a machine gunner in the marines and before he got out became a sniper.Ryan
