    Happy Memorial Day

Here's hoping everyone has a good and safe Memorial Day, and takes a few moments to reflect on why we celebrate it.

    A nice flag display, Mike!

A solemn holiday to remember the Fallen, which marks the start of summer with outdoor family fun! Hoping all are enjoying a safe weekend.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Thanks Roger. After we moved into the new house I still flew the flag at the old house but found I missed being able to look out the window and see it flying so I came up with this for the new house over the winter.

I hope you all had a great memorial day. We made it out to my grandfather's grave as well as Uncle Jerry's. Both were Korean War Vets. It took a while to find Uncle Jerry's. I haven't been there for years. My kids were surprised to see the 40 on his head stone. After some more stories I think they get it. We cleaned both of their head stones off too. I'm not sure if there is a good way to get the black off Jerry's head stone or if that stone is supposed to do that?
