Not much going on I guess.
Personally I'm recovering from last Friday (the 13th)........and boy was it.
Cade and I were rebuilding the front suspension in the El Camino. The ball joint press wouldn't seat straight on the lower control arm, so we pulled the arm so we could press the new ball joint in using the upright press. Got the ball joint in and when I went to release the pressure on the press I swore Cade was holding on to the control arm (he wasn't). The control arm didn't get hurt cause I used my big toe to break it's fall. Been limping ever since .
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

Mike P., was it one of those moments that goes in slow motion and you realize what is going to happen but you just watch it go on.?.?

Ken don't think it will, I pretty sure that I'll end up loosing the whole nail and it it start over.

No Mike I didn't see it coming at all. The control arms are pretty triangular shaped, when it fell one of the corners (bushing corner) turned just enough that that corner dropped straight down and that's what nailed my toe right at the edge of the toe nail and toe (at least nothing was broken). This was the moment that Cade found out how many "magic words" Grandpa could expel in one breath ( I think he was impressed LOL).
On the bright side, I hardly noticed my back pain at all for the next couple of days.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
