No problem, I appreciate the help. I searched for it too and it came up with a few and they were all for All Fords. Now who need's a vintage yard for All Fords? Who drives a Ford anyways? haha just messing but yeah that's all that I found. I did find one that said it had all GM and Buick (yeah buick would be nice since that's what I am looking for) but of course it's far as hell from here.

    Rat Rod>>>>>>>>>>>

If you must use a primer mix it with lacquer for a better look and some protection from rust.. Use a mix of 70% primer and 30% lacquer. Should last 8-10 months then re shoot it.

    47 Chevy Rat Rod

Heres a picture of my 1947 Chevy sedan Rat. Its got a 3.5" chop, 1.5" pie cut hood. Powered by a 472 cube Cadillac engine. 102 louvers in the hood. Mustang II front suspension, Chassis Eng. raer spring suspension, 9" Bronco rear. Real black laquar primer, changing the paint to John Deere Blitz black, looks just like primer, but won't bleed thru.

Yeah that is sweet too. I guess I am going to stick with gloss black and metallic blue outlined ghost looking flames and the wide tires on the back. I am supposed to have my license right now so I need to buy an old truck my parents said so I may look into this 53 Chevy Truck again and see about how bad the rust is and then if I get it then I will rat rod it and it will be a real rat rod but with brakes and floors in good shape.

Haha, I hear you man. Yeah there is like a 50 5 window around here and a old lady owns it. She lives in some nursing home and is real old and said she bought it when her and her husband were together and will never get rid of it for anything. But yeah the thing is is that this 53 has NO bed, no floor, not seat, all windows busted, rust on the frame, there is a bed but rusted all the way through and you can poke your finger through it, no tires, original rims and 8 lugs on the back I think and the rims are no good, there's an engine that supposedly used to run, the column shifter is broke and held on with zip ties. I may look into getting it but the guy said no lower than 800. I will try and talk him down to 450 because it's barely worth that but right now I have a few sets of these crager ss wheels that are mocked up on the 48 and I can use them and there are two new BFG tires on them, for the floors I will make my own since they aren't that hard to make in that truck, I will get a floor shifter, leave the engine, and put new windows in and take the bed off. Now I am not sure if there is anything else wrong with it that is why I want to talk to the guy more but other than that if I can get it road worthy without spending over 1300 on it then I will get it. Only thing I will really have to buy is two more tires, windows and metal for the floor. Oh yeah and speedometer and head lights. I think the tailights were good but I would probably change that too. I am not going to even look into this truck anytime soon though I am just wanting to work on my 48 for now. If I do look into buying the 53 then it will be about 4 months until I do.

One of these is a die cast I have but I love the ol'school paint scheme. The other is one that was at the nsra in springfield last year. The diecast is flat white w/ flat black inserts, very cool and the only one I have seen like it. Sorry they are not coupes but it's just to show paint anyway.
