    Wooden Hot-Rod (For real)

Now here is a interesting hot rod. Open up my pictures that take a look at this wooden car. It fooled me the first time I looked at it. It looks like it powered by a flathead engine with wood heads, wooden blower and carberators. But underneath all that deception lays a 350 engine with a 2 barrel carberator. The body is the same, made out of wood. This guy who built this really had his head together when it came to be innovative. Jipjob
Restoration is the only way! But hot rods are cool also!

I"ll haft to wait till one of my twins come home and shows me how to compress those pictures of the wooden car. I think the computer is wonderfull but sometimes it can be a very big love hate relationship. Jipjob

A lot of trees died for no particular reason.

Anyone got a photo of that VW that had grass growing all over it?

Never good with wood working, just average. After I retired from my 30 year job and went into maintence, I was asked once how my carpentry work was and I responded" you wouldn't want to live in a house I built"

Yeah, the guy said his biggest problem was soaking the wood in water, bending it, drying it out. Lot of work for sure and a real head turnner.

Nah, its real wood Pro, from the top down to the semi baby moon hubcaps Here's a shot of the interior.

Kinda cool when he cranked it up and the wooden flathead came to life. See the post in Wood Engine - in the Hot Rod Talk forum of Club Hot Rod Forums: http://www.clubhotrod.com/forums/sho...5&goto=newpost

The guys really something when it comes to working with wood he even did the grill, carbs the huffer. Neat stuff.
