    NO, got 2 in our shed, my real point is, that you are beyond hobbiest , your more professional leval. By a hobbiest, I mean someone doing the buildup in there driveway or garage, my driveway allows a lot of work room but not 6500 sq ft, when I was working on it in my grandfathers garage, which is approx 700 sq ft, maby more, maby less, 2 car garage, I was using 1 side, I had to flip the car around when I wanted to do work on the other side, it was tight working on it otherwise. A normal garage where a hobbiest might do work, is not larger than there house, that's why I compared my house to your shop because my house is on avarage size, maby a little small but it's a 24x 48 doublewide, our house in savana is about the same length and width but the basement has been finished off, making it double the size.

    you operate on a much more professional leval yet still a hobbiest. My computer was giving me greif, that's why theres 3 posts of the same thing. Back the the original point, you have a use for your 4 compressors, like your blast cabinet and probably a large assortment of air tools and other air powered gadgets but, someone just working out of there garage dosen't need 4 compressors, most people have 1 15 gallon to 35 gallon compressor in there garage and that is fairly adaquate for most air powered tools and paint guns and such.

    well as far as the welder goes i got one that will do the job.
    after i buy some pieces for it it will do even better.
    oh and i figured i would practic on my mom's 85 ferd for painting.
    and then i got the 79 to practice on as far as welding and such.
    so is there any thing else that i havent mesioned that i need to know before i start????

    I think you got it, other than 50% overlap on paint.

    Streets, you got a huge shop compaired to most of us here. Me, Matt and Truckguy probably don't even have our own garage at that... our parents own the things not us and they are small. Plus we don't have as much money as you. As far as a 15 gal 5 HP compressor working... mine won't. It run's constently when just using the blow nozzle to dust something off... Well I can use the air for about 2 minutes and then it kicks on. Paint in the ass, and my other small one that my dad uses on jobs for nail guns, etc I don't even touch. But anyways, Truckguy, before you even weld anything I think you should try and find scrap metal somewhere and practice a ton before you weld anything like a frame, or anything at all that you will be riding in. Try different welds like butt welds, etc. You can lay a nice looking weld down maybe but it may not penetrate well so test it own. Butt weld something, put the piece in a vise, bent it and see how it breaks. It shouldn't break just the weld, if it breaks at all then it will take some of the metal plate with it.
    Go on www.millerwelders.com and they have some tips on there. Lincoln Welder site has plans for welding tables, etc to build that are nice and some tips on there so check that out too man.

    just to throw this out there, I've been painting my truck with a HVLP gun and I have a 3 hp 15 gallon compressor. I run 40 psi out of the compressor for spraying and it keeps up with the gun just fine. I recently painted the entire cab inside and out, it took about 15-20 minutes per coat. The flash time was 15 minutes, so basically I was spraying for at least 45 minutes straight and the tank pressure never dropped below 100 psi.
