To dip or not to dip ok you guys gave me alot of pointers and ideas what about this?

Should I get these rims redipped in chrome or buy new ones????

Buy new ones. by the time you have them dipped and rechromed you can buy new for the same amount of money or lessThe only dumb question is the one you don't ask..

Realy how much do the usualy cost?? and do the sand blast it prior to chroming. what is the process?

I would have to agree with everyone Those rims are kinda um! um! well I would replace them when you can If you figure bye the time you put your ride up on block's and remove the tires and then replace them all that trouble you can get new ones those would be good for winter tire'sdrive it like ya stole it

Cheap, cheesy, $20 wheels with fake rivets.............sometimes referred to as ghetto wheels (if you think that's a racial slur it's you that has the problem). Not worth the cost of redo. Here's an example ad for a pair of brand new similar ones from Crager, for $20 the pair, with free shipping, and no takers in two days http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43955
For $300 bucks you can find some good, used aluminum wheels with some style, if you're patient. But then, to each his own.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
