F100 subframing.
I am seriously considering subframing the old 55 F100 next spring and I am debating whether to use a early Camaro/Nova rear steer subframe or an Aspen/Volaria subframe. Anyone done either one and which would be the best so I can keep my 390's front sump oil pan? I would like to use one with power steeing.Last edited by Oldf100fordman; 12-12-2004 at 05:38 PM.

Here's a link to a guy who did a volare using a 460 FoMoCo; http://www.clubfte.com/users/jniolon...ip/volare.html
Then a few years later he went Mustang II; http://www.clubfte.com/users/jniolon...nginstall.htmlYour Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Thanks for the links, Uncle Bob. Good info there. The mustang II is out for me as I've been told by every manufacture that they won't work with the 390's Front Sump.
I am going to copy the Volare link though. Looks like the way to go especially since I know someone that parts MoPars out all the time. (also put it on my favorites list so I can find it easily)Last edited by Oldf100fordman; 12-12-2004 at 06:04 PM.
