    '59 Galaxie

So I am painting my Galaxie this Spring and I haven't decided if I should do the whole top, just the hood, or something different...what do you guys think? Sorry for the poor quality, I am not very good with computers...but I tried to airbrush the car how I want it to look...

    This is it now...

Kinda depends on what look you're after. If you're trying to do an era piece, and going heavy flake, just the roof (West coast style anyway). If you're going lace pattern, then your rendition would work well. If you're just going for a two tone in solid colors I think the roof and deck, but not the hood would look good. Cars like this with a lot of heavy trim can get way busy looking depending on what you do.

Yeah I am still not sure if I am going to do baby pink metal flake or stick with a nice subtle pearl. I kind of want it wild...

How wild do you want to go with it? There are ways to get a REAL personal hue for it & then add your sparkles.......I had a guy give me such a hard time over browns once that I scanned a dog dropping, mixed the codes & added metalic's........he loved it. Figgured he would- seeing's how.
Just for the record- I think it looks perfect as it is......clean, black, with lots of bold chrome, but it's yours to paint.
