Nice Pic's John and realy nice shop.
I blew my engine in my 73 VW Bug that was all tricked out in Mojave. That was back in 1980 and I could have used a friend with a nice shop. Had to get a friend Sandy Gillbert to tow it back home to Las Vegas where he owns SRS custom streetrods and exhaust. He was allways telling me to buy a chevy. Anyway I had to ride the Greyhound bus back to Fort Ord in California. that was one fun trip Beautiful weather though.

I used to go to Craigroad raceway in Las Vegas all the time but that was paved not dirt.Me and my little brother used to race dirt bikes and loved being there for the old mint 400 cross desert race's. I now live in Florida, And am thinking of moving back to Vegas.

300,000 people in the last 5 years? Damn, I wonder what it's like out there now. Don't come east of the US, where I live it's crouded big time now. Everyone from New York and all those northern states (mostly NY) come here for business, etc and it's way over crouded. They talk about all the time how it's too over crouded now and trying to pass laws or something about no more neighborhoods being built. 5 years ago where we live it was alright and not crouded at all but now the main street about 2 miles from us is so backed up in the mourning, I can't even get out of our neighborhood or nothing and even all the back roads are backed up too. Last summer was like that but would take back roads to miss it all and not many people took them and now all backroads are filled and homes being built all over. Crazy here too, I would rather live there in Mohave Valley, at least there's not trees there.www.streamlineautocare.com

John ; I hear that all the time from people down here, about how hot it is out there and I just laugh. And they would tell me that I don't under stand how hot it really is. Again I would laugh, I used to run from Henerson to my gym Chet Yortons in Las Vegas , 25 miles away and back every day in 120 + degress. And I loved it and would still do it if my knees did'nt give out on me. I love the weather out there. Down here in Florida every breath of air you take you get a hot glass of water with it. You need gills to breath down here. After dark you have to tie a rope to your kids or the mosquitos will fly away with them. That's not to mention if some one has aids and the mosquitos bite them and then decide that you look more juciy and fly over and bite you. Now they say you can't catch it like that but I say take the S.O.B. that said that and
put Him in a room with 10,000 Mosquitos and a person with full blown aids. Lets see how long it takes him to run from that room!!! I'll bet 10 people could'nt drag him in it. HE! HE!
Just some thing to think about when moving to florida.
I wish I would have know all this stuff before I moved here.

I would rather be in 140 degree DRY weather than all this humid crap with misqitos (sp) like Vara4 said. Weather here sucks, I miss California and Arizona weather. I used to bike (not dirt bikes just BMX) miles and miles every day non stop from the time I got home from school until 2 hours after it got dark and would sweat but not bad like out here and only thing that hurt was my head where it felt like it was going to explode cause it was hot and your temples would feel like your pulse (I am sure you know how that feels when its hot as hell out and you are running or something). Even though I lived there and am real used to the heat I am used to the cold now, I love cold weather, it doesn't bother me anymore at all, I always feel hot anyways and always wan't A/C or windows down in the car when the rest of my family is freezing. heh.www.streamlineautocare.com
