Looking for opinions what color should it be
Finished this bad boy last fall and haven't decided what color to paint her and winter is half over.
Let me know what you think.

Purple is a very popular color for hotrods. Traditional flames stand out good on a grape purple car. My '51 will be a medium dark grape purple.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

A buddy of mine had a purple 23T looked sharp with all the 70s graphicsTHERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR CUBIC INCHES

I like it the way it is too. That shiny stuff just makes you mad the first time you get careless and chip it with something. (Like damn jack handle but I uhhh wouldn't uhhh know....)

Well I guess I’ll pass on the old geesier thing but the truth be known a good frend of mine has a 1953 Willy’s that is as close to hot pink as I would like to get

How about plaid? when was the last time someone saw a plaid car? or, since you already have a blac basecoat, how about high-metallic black? looks good on everythingRight engine, Wrong Wheels

You know you old guys its a paint job where you lay a doily as a pttern and clear over it or something like that. Little help please I can't find any pics at the moment. It used to be so cool painted on vans and the like....

That was done by spraying a color over a "lace" doily, like the side of this body I bought many years ago.Mike Casella
