You probably already know this, but here's the promoter's website; http://www.hotrodshows.com/home.ihtml . If they're smart they'll update it today.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Deserving winner. I know they were bummed at not winning the last Ridler with that car.
As much as I REALLY like Trepanier's '32, the color mismatch on the deck lid would bounce it out of contention in the first round of judging at this level, unless he's fixed that since SEMA.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Kenny, you can go to this page for pics from the show. The guy who has this page does a super job of taking pics and posting them. http://donshotrodpage.net/GNRS/index.htm

Here is the pic of the Ritzow car.......to me, it looks much
better when it sits on the floor with the doors closed but
I guess the judges like to see the detail...and this car has
a bit of detail.

I got a pile of pictures emailed to me this afternoon. This is one of my favorites.
Looks like a '49/50 Chev washback sedan turned into a hardtop. I especially like the work in adapting what looks like '53/4 hardtop window/roof trim, very creative. The Olds grill isn't all that creative, but the workmanship is excellent. Love the fit of the bumpers.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

The work on the Moal car is obviously fantastic - but it just isn't my cup of tea. Too many of those flanges or fairings or whatever they're calling them.Jack

Ahhhhh Pomona. Reminds me very little of the time I was a boy, in the stonyane mountains. . . . . used to go to sleep leaning up againsta a windfall. I digress. Anyway I miss that place.
A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
