Topster / Bop Top
Hi folks! I'm the guy, or one of the two, that makes the Topsters, and I just wanted to mention a couple of things that dangeroustoy missed. The reason we don't supply the actual tops is because there are so many variables in style of side opening, colors, materials, rear windows etc and we don't carry stock - we're not a buisness. We feel a top should be fitted to YOUR car, not just any 32, because believe me there are diferences in all the body makes. In regards to the windshield headers, we are the ONLY ones that offer a cast aluminum two piece header as an option, and the top unsnaps from all of our headers and folds up for storage by itself - the Bop Top is permanently attached to the header, so you have to roll the top and rear window up around the header and you wind up with a good sized bundle to store. We also offer a Topster II which uses a floating rear snap bar that floats about 3/16" off the body so the only place the frame touches the body is on the W/S post tops and the two tabs behind the doors. We also offer a two piece cast aluminum windshield header for Topsters for Duval windshields and they're slick! Feel free to check us out at www.topsters.com or contact me.........we're just two hot rodders doing this as a cool hobby! Larry"nobody likes a top on a roadster, but it's nice to have one in the trunk when you need it!"See us at www.topsters.com
I wore a camouflage T-shirt once. The response in the pub was "Oooh, it's a floating head!" .
