I have been out of town for the last week or so, but I had to check eck to this thread to see what I missed... It was worth the look, for Bob's last clue, I had to laugh out loud when I realized how it nearly slipped past!!!

Does it have two sets of lobes and a shiftable cam? I think it's safe to assume it is a v-12. So, is it an Allison? Rolls-Royce? GMC?

I spend several hours this last august at Bonneville talking to the original builder/driver of that car. It had the first known fiberglass flip up body. He was also involved on several Indy car projects in the sixties. What's his name? Bonus question, where does he live?Anyone can restore an old car, it takes a man to cut one up

Sorry to go over plowed ground. Jim is still going strong, new ideas all the time. He showed me drawings of a new type of Pro Stock scoop, he designed, he is looking for someone to try it.Anyone can restore an old car, it takes a man to cut one up
