I need some I.D. help!!
Okay, I've been looking at this old school teachers car. It's kinda plain, but then, I'm just a plain ol' farm boy anyway, so I thought it would be a good Sunday go ta meetin' kinda car.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

But the engine's got me a little confused. She said it was just a standard thing that came with the car, nothin' special. But it don't look like no small block chevy ta me, the valve covers look too wide. Were these wider valve covers some kind of option that the old gal forgot she ordered?Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Chevrolet made an engine called the BIG BLOCK BOB?? Well, that's a heck of a coincidence, since I'm Bob too!! I think it's got a 5 speed 'cause the picture on the ball at the top of the shiftin' stick has a 1,2,3,4, and R. That adds up to 5 in Kansas, although it would only be 4 in Arkansas.
You're close on the name. The teacher is Miss Ellie, but she called the car Jane. Plain and simple.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

The air filter looks just like the one on my 65 Stang and that's a hi-po 289 not a BIG BLOCK BOB engine. It's not often you see a Ford engine in a Chevy.
Streets what you got there is a horseless carriage. Predecessor to the automobile. They had no radios or A/C so they faded from popularity.

Streets, it looks like a 1903 Batavia Buckshot, affectionately known as the 00 (double aught for the Okie). It was powered by an Old Wheezer engine. The company was the first to use knee action suspension, but that needed to be replaced prematurely.

Streets I hope your knee surgery goes well. If your ornery old body rejects that new fangled knee you'll be "stumped" permanently. Wouldn't you rather build your own knee on the cnc instead of using one of those catalog knees? At least get the doctor to let you take it home first and modify it to make it bend a little more to help you squeeze into the T-pail.

You need a laptop and wireless internet to keep ya from going nutz for the 4 days in bed. That way you can still plauge us.
That's gonna be a wiiide C-cab if you build on that frame.
Does a Chevy engine fit in a Ford frame? I know where you can get a Lincoln with a 351 and four wheel discs. (cheap)

The problem with hospital staph infections is they're resistant to most antibiotics.
And the horseless carriage is a 1903 model a Ford.
