Thanks for the update Al. It's amazing where some of these old concept cars end up.
The slinky little two seater is the original concept car, the Mustang I and was released in 1962. It had a German Ford V4 engine mounted midships. The seat was fixed in one position and the pedals were moved to adjust for driver size variations. (That's all from memory Dano). It was a funtional car that was driven a number of times, unlike some concept cars that are merely static display pieces.
The '63 car was called the Mustang II, a name later revived for the custom grilled Pinto's(sorry Mike, couldn't resist).
