The Hummingbird
Is it a "Sports Racer" or a hot rod? Since it only ran at Bonneville, despite the body style, I'd call it a hot rod. Here's a link to a fascinating site that chronicles this neat car, and it's unique design features. It was built by a genuine rocket scientist who, as you can tell by the name he gave it, was better at engineering than name creation. Although, the Spanish version of the name sounds much better............................El Colibri!! I notice it's equipped with the Latham supercharger mention in the other thread...
